Peace! I'm Taiyo, founder of Relife.

Relife started with a dream — literally. At a very young age I became fascinated with holistic solutions to foundational problems that exist in today's world. I found that planting trees is a powerful, true foundational solution because it solves an infinite number of problems — from air pollution, to food insecurity, and even poor ecological and human health. I was always extremely fascinated with learning about the science and nature of reality.

Everything changed when my grandfather passed on — not in a negative way, but I feel as though I've inherited his will for gardening. I remember enjoying fresh cucumber, peaches, and tomatoes straight from his New Jersey garden… and when he moved on I felt as though I received all of his passion.

Fast forward to me at 18. In this dream I saw humanity building beautiful natural structures, food forests, and beautiful closed-loop ways of holistic living. I woke up and immediately told my dad I'll start an organization called Relife.

Our mission is to plant 10 billion trees by 2030 — not just random trees, but living systems of fruit, nut, medicinal, and canopy trees that feed people, rebuild soil, and hold water in the land for generations.

We build community around that work. Members don't just fund trees — they learn holistic living, food forestry, and land stewardship, and watch the forests they helped plant grow year over year.

And we hold ourselves to a standard most reforestation work doesn't: radical accountability. Every tree we plant is counted in a public registry, anchored to a public blockchain, and verifiable by anyone — donor, skeptic, or auditor — without trusting our servers. Mass plantings are tracked plot by plot with ground sampling and satellite verification, and we publish our verified and in-progress numbers separately, because an honest count is worth more than a big one.
